About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Property & Asset Management Graduate to join our Commercial Property & Asset Management team. The role involves supporting the management of a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, including retail, office and industrial units, on behalf of our clients. Working alongside experienced surveyors, you’ll gain practical experience across all aspects of commercial property management, including landlord and tenant matters such as rent reviews and lease renewals, while developing your professional skills and knowledge.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with rent, insurance and service charge collection and debt management across property portfolios
- Supporting the management of service charges, including setting budgets, reconciling accounts and monitoring expenditure
- Liaising with clients, tenants and contractors
- Assisting with the preparation of client reports
- Supporting property inspections
- Assisting with landlord and tenant matters, including rent reviews, lease renewals and lease re-gears
- Assisting with tenant applications, including alterations, licences and lease variations
- Providing day-to-day support to the Property & Asset Management team while developing knowledge of landlord and tenant matters
Skills and Experience
- Degree in Real Estate, Property Management or another RICS-accredited property course
- Strong interest in commercial property and asset management
- Professional and enthusiastic approach to work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Keen to develop towards professional qualification (MRICS)
- Full UK driving licence
