Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable, operationally strong Junior-Midweight Creative Artworker / Production Designer to support ongoing digital creative adaptation and production work. This role functions as a flexible, embedded resource focused on adapting and versioning existing templates across static digital, social, and potentially light AV/motion assets.

The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in fast-paced environments, excels at turning briefs into production-ready assets with speed and accuracy, and thrives in a variable-workload model where reliability and responsiveness are prioritized over conceptual ideation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adapt and version existing creative templates for static digital, social, and light AV/motion assets
  • Ensure all work adheres strictly to provided brand guidelines and template systems
  • Prepare and package "ready-to-go" artwork for review and delivery with 100% technical accuracy (specs, color profiles, file types)
  • Efficiently incorporate feedback to refine designs and meet objectives
  • Support testing and versioning workflows, including file preparation for internal review
  • Manage fluctuating workloads – delivering core guaranteed hours while flexing additional time during peak periods
  • Maintain clear communication regarding availability, progress, and blockers
  • Operate independently with minimal day-to-day oversight while staying aligned with priorities

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–6 years of professional experience in creative artworking, production design, or similar production-focused roles
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital and social asset adaptation from templates
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience working from established brand systems, templates, and style guides
  • Proven ability to work quickly and accurately across multiple concurrent deliverables
  • Familiarity with testing/versioning processes and file preparation standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage shifting priorities

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Basic motion/AV editing experience (After Effects or Premiere Pro)
  • Experience in high-volume production environments
  • Background working through a UK Ltd company (preferred for contracting purposes)

Engagement Details

  • Initial Term: 3-month freelance retainer (guaranteed ~32 hrs/week baseline)
  • Potential Extension: Up to 12 months based on performance and needs
  • Work Model: Hybrid – primarily remote with potential for occasional onsite presence
  • Hours: Guaranteed minimum baseline of 32 hours/week; additional hours available flexibly based on volume
  • Availability: Must commit to the guaranteed baseline hours and communicate availability clearly for flex time
  • Contracting Preference: Strong preference for candidates operating through a UK Ltd company (C2C)

We are looking for someone highly reliable, responsive, and operationally strong – focused on execution and quality rather than conceptual ideation. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
