About The Role:
What YOU will be doing:
- Providing high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes
- Assisting with personal care tasks such as medication, washing/bathing, oral hygiene, and dressing
- Supporting clients with daily tasks, including meal preparation and general housekeeping
- Offering choices for social activities, accompanying clients to lead meaningful lives, providing emotional support, and promoting independence
- Building positive relationships with clients' families, loved ones, and other professionals involved in their support
Essential About YOU:
- At least two years of care experience
- Ability to work an average of 8-week blocks on duty
- Attendance at induction and refresher training at our dedicated training centres
- Empower individuals to make their own decisions and choices
- Provide dignified assistance with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing, and medication
- Offer physical and emotional support to those in your care
- Enable participation in daily living tasks and activities
- Assist with healthcare and personal appointments
- Foster positive relationships with individuals, their families, colleagues, and other professionals
- Confidence in using mobile technology to record and deliver care
