This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced marketer to join a small team to promote our business and the amazing work we do in our local community through our sponsorship and grants program.

Inner East Community Finance Limited (IECF) is a partnership between our community and Bendigo Bank. Under a franchise agreement with Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, we operate Community Bank Inner East, with branches in Ashburton, Balwyn, Canterbury and Surrey Hills and service the Inner East Melbourne area. We return up to 60 per cent of our profits back to the local community through our Community Investment Program (sponsorships and grants). We foster collaboration and build long term partnerships that create impact in our community. So far we have provided $9.5 million in sponsorships and grants to our local community.

The position is integral to fostering a strong connection between our business and the community we support. The Marketing Coordinator will manage our social media and digital channels, including content production, community engagement, scheduling and analytics. You will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging content to promote our Community Investment Program and content to tell the story of the impact our support.

This is a three day a week role with flexibility. We offer flexible working hours and a hybrid work from home and office based structure.

What do you need:

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing or other related disciplines
  • 1+ years of marketing experience
  • Social media management experience (Instagram, Facebook and YouTube) including advertising, reporting and analytics
  • Creative flair for content creation
  • Proficiency in using digital mailing platforms, preferably MailChimp including analytic tools
  • Experience with content management systems, preferably WordPress
  • Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Both an autonomous and collaborative working ability
