As People Operations Analyst, you'll be the front door to our People Team. You will be the first point of contact for employees and managers, and a key part of how we deliver a modern, data-driven and AI-enabled People function. You'll gain exposure to the full employee lifecycle, work closely with the Head of People & Talent, and see first-hand how HR operates inside a consultancy shaping public sector reform. What you'll do
- Act as first point of contact for People Team queries, giving timely, professional and supportive responses to employees and managers.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, induction, probation, performance review and offboarding.
- Coordinate induction and probation, making sure new joiners and managers have the right information, support and documentation.
- Prepare and maintain employee records, contracts, offer letters and employment documentation.
- Maintain and update people systems, including HiBob, ensuring data is accurate and well managed.
- Support recruitment administration via Workable, including interview coordination and candidate communications.
- Produce regular people reports, dashboards and workforce insights to support decision-making.
- Support payroll, benefits, pay review and bonus administration.
- Assist with learning, development, capability and career progression activity.
- Contribute to People and Enabling Team projects, process improvements and AI-enabled ways of working.
Requirements
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Confidence working with data, spreadsheets, systems and digital tools, and curiosity about technology and AI-enabled ways of working.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport across the business.
- Strong judgement, discretion and respect for confidentiality.
- A proactive, solution-focused mindset, comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- A genuine interest in building a career in People, Talent, HR, Operations or People Analytics.
- Desirable:
- Previous HR, recruitment, operations or administration experience.
- Experience with HR systems such as HiBob and Workable.
- Experience producing reports or working with people data.
- Relevant Business or HR degree-level qualification. CIPD qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Available to start immediately or within a short notice period.
