Building on a strong track record of using legal processes to drive accountability and secure justice, the organisation is expanding its litigation programme. Particular focus is being placed on tackling antisemitism in higher education and in online environments.
The legal team undertakes a diverse and complex caseload across multiple areas of law. Its work involves assessing incidents of antisemitism, determining appropriate legal strategies, and pursuing cases through criminal, civil, and public law routes. In addition to casework, the team provides internal legal support across a range of areas, including charity governance, employment law, and defamation. The organisation is seeking a Paralegal to contribute strong legal skills and a clear commitment to addressing antisemitism through legal action.
Key Responsibilities- Managing the intake and triage of new cases, including initial legal assessment under supervision
- Supporting ongoing casework to ensure matters progress efficiently
- Coordinating with volunteer legal professionals and external counsel
- Drafting legal correspondence, pleadings, witness statements, applications, and regulatory complaints
- Conducting legal research to support case strategy
- Assisting with the review and development of internal policies and standard agreements
- With the internal legal team on casework, compliance, and contract management
- With specialist volunteers involved in investigations and enforcement activity
- With external solicitors, barristers, and other pro bono legal professionals
- With colleagues providing operational, administrative, and communications support
