*Finance Manager / Management Accountant* We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Manager / Management Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial accounting and management, with the ability to provide insightful analysis and support for our financial operations. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation. Ideally you will be qualified to ACA, AAT, ACCA or CIMA. Duties Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Conduct financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Monitor cost controls measures to enhance profitability. Collaborate with the wider team to provide financial insights and guidance. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis as needed. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. Lead initiatives for process improvements within the finance department. Ad-hoc duties ie. Audit preperation and liaison, VAT, Payroll, Invoice and Journal posting, regular communication with our banking partners, HMRC etc. Skills Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounts payable processes and systems. Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Familiarity with financial services and management concepts. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Be a people person. Able to work with a small but experienced existing finance team.
