About the Role
- Support class teaching across all year groups, enhancing learning outcomes.
- Deliver focused interventions aimed at closing the gap for disadvantaged pupils.
- Teach lessons independently for a few afternoons per week during teacher PPA and leadership time.
- Work closely with teaching staff to monitor pupil progress and adapt support accordingly.
- Contribute positively to the classroom environment, promoting engagement and motivation.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Proven ability to deliver interventions that raise attainment for disadvantaged pupils.
- Confidence and competence in teaching small groups or whole classes during teacher absence.
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
