The Role
We are looking for a Senior CG Artist to join INK's CGI Department. This is a senior-level position with full ownership of CG delivery, from brief to final output. Our preferred candidate will set the visual standard, ensure consistency across projects, and elevate the team's work through clear direction, feedback, and mentorship. Close collaboration with Creative Directors and the wider studio is key, whilst balancing artistic ambition with technical feasibility and production realities. This is an on-site role at our studio near Kingβs Cross.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Leadership & Delivery
- Own end-to-end CG delivery, from brief through to final output
- Define and maintain a premium, consistent visual standard across projects
- Translate creative briefs into compelling, photorealistic visuals with strong narrative and cinematic impact
- Balance quality, deadlines, and production constraints
- Review team output and provide clear, actionable feedback
- Lead texturing, lighting, look development, animation, and composition for complex scenes
- Build, optimise, and manage large-scale environments and heavy scenes
- Produce high-end stills and animation aligned with brand and art direction
- Troubleshoot complex technical and visual challenges without compromising quality
- Work closely with Art Directors, Designers, and Producers to shape creative direction
- Confidently present work and creative decisions internally and to clients
- Mentor middleweight and junior artists, sharing best practices and workflows
- Help foster a culture of quality, curiosity, and continuous improvement

Experience & Skills
- Extensive experience in high-end, photorealistic CG production
- Strong proficiency in Blender or similar 3D software (Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Maya, etc.)
- Excellent understanding of real-world photography, lighting, materials, and composition
- Proven ability to lead projects and maintain quality under pressure
