We are working with a small, well-established investment firm seeking an experienced Fund Accountant or Fund Controller to join on a 12-month contract. This is a hands-on role within a lean team, suited to someone who is comfortable operating across multiple areas and adding value from day one. The successful candidate will take ownership of core fund accounting responsibilities, working closely with senior stakeholders across finance and the investment team. Given the size of the business, this role requires an individual who has the ability to manage detail while also supporting broader operational and reporting requirements.
Key requirements:
- 5+ years’ post-qualified experience (PQE) within fund accounting
- Strong background in hedge funds or private credit/alternatives
- Proven ability to work in small, dynamic environments
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence handling large datasets
- Hands-on, adaptable and able to work independently
- Immediately available or on short notice
