Our client is a rapidly expanding Fin Tech broker and custodian based in central London and operating on B2B and B2B2C models. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager from a brokerage (retail or institutional ) background to lead the planning and delivery of trading execution and custody projects — spanning business change, product and market rollouts, and the onboarding of new clients. Reporting to the CEO duties will include:
- Manage business projects across the business: rollout of new services, products and asset classes, onboarding of new market counterparties and service providers, connectivity to new exchanges and markets, and related regulatory and operational change.
- Define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, risks, assumptions and success criteria.
- Coordinate input from Compliance, Operations, Middle Office, CASS, Finance and Technology so that business requirements, controls and operational readiness are covered.
- Project manage internal business readiness for new client launches — setting milestones and target readiness dates, unblocking dependencies, and driving owners to delivery.
- Work closely with the Technical Project Managers on the client's technical implementation so that business readiness and technical delivery stay aligned to the go-live date.
- Maintain clear project plans, RAID logs, action trackers, decision logs and sign-offs, and report structured progress to management, sponsors and clients.
What we're looking for:
- Proven project management experience taking projects through the full life cycle within a retail, institutional broker or similar platform
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g. Jira, Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet)
- The agility to move between projects as priorities evolve; this is a fast-evolving business with multiple product lines mid-rollout.
- Some regulatory knowledge around MiFID II, product governance, CASS, AML and KYC
