About Ink Digital
Ink Digital is a growing digital marketing agency based in Brentwood. We work across SEO, PPC, paid social, web and CRM, and we’re big on being practical, commercial, and doing work that genuinely moves the needle for clients. We’re in an exciting growth phase for our PPC team, and this role is a chance to be part of that early journey. You’ll work directly with our Head of Paid Search, support the development of the department, and play a key role in helping us build a PPC offering that scales in the right way. This is a hands‑on role with real room to grow. It would suit someone who wants more ownership, more exposure to clients, and the chance to help shape how a department develops, rather than just sit in a delivery‑only role.
The opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior PPC Executive to help manage and grow paid media activity across a range of client accounts. The role is primarily focused on paid search, with the chance to support paid social where relevant. You’ll be involved in campaign delivery, reporting, client communication, and supporting 4 Digital Marketing Executives within the wider team. You’ll also work closely with the Head of Paid Search on process improvements, ways of working, and the early stages of building a strong, scalable PPC department.
What you’ll be doing
- Campaign delivery and optimisation
- Plan, build and optimise paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
- Support campaign performance across a range of lead generation and ecommerce accounts
- Monitor budgets, bidding, targeting and performance to improve results over time
- Run audits and turn findings into clear action points and next steps
- Support paid social activity where needed, particularly across Meta and LinkedIn
- Reporting, insight and client communication
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards and performance summaries
- Turn campaign performance into clear, useful insights rather than just platform updates
- Join client calls and help communicate results, priorities and recommendations confidently
- Set expectations well and keep clients updated on progress, risks and opportunities
- Work closely with SEO, web and creative teams to improve landing page performance, tracking and conversion rates
- Team and department support
- Support and help manage 4 Digital Marketing Executives within the wider digital team
- Work directly with the Head of Paid Search to improve internal processes, standards and ways of working
- Contribute to testing frameworks, QA processes, templates and playbooks
- Be involved in the early stages of the PPC department build and help shape how the team develops as it grows
About you
- 2 to 4 years of PPC or paid media experience, ideally agency‑side
- Strong hands‑on experience with Google Ads
- Comfortable working across multiple accounts and priorities
- Confident communicating with clients by email, on calls and in meetings
- Organised, proactive and good at spotting issues early
- Commercially aware and interested in outcomes, not just activity
- Keen to support and develop others as the team grows
- Paid social experience is a plus, but not essential
Experience we’re looking for:
- Must have
- Strong Google Ads experience across Search and Performance Max
- Experience managing campaigns end to end
- Confident using GA4 and performance data to guide decisions
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Experience speaking with clients and explaining performance in a straightforward way
- Nice to have
- Paid social experience, especially Meta or LinkedIn
- Experience with Looker Studio or similar reporting tools
- Experience working alongside SEO and web teams
- Google Ads or Meta certifications
How we work
We care a lot about how people work, not just what they know. The main values we look for in this role are taking ownership, being commercial, communicating clearly, staying coachable, and helping build systems that make the whole team better. - Owns their work and follows through
- Communicates clearly and flags things early
- Has high standards but low ego
- Learns quickly and shares ideas with the team
- Wants to help build processes and improve how things are done
- Cares about client outcomes and commercial impact
