The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a Senior Programme Manager to join the ApotheCom team. This role offers a dynamic and varied experience across diverse projects.
What You’ll Do
- You’ll lead the delivery of complex scientific communications and Medical Affairs programmes, ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage publications and medical affairs projects – abstracts, posters, manuscripts, congress deliverables, advisory boards, slide decks, medical education materials, training programmes, scientific platforms – from initiation to completion.
- Lead multiple concurrent projects and workstreams across client programmes, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource management.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and status trackers.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Own project financial management: budget development, forecasting, invoicing, revenue recognition, profitability tracking.
- Manage Statements of Work (SOWs), monitor scope, identify change requests and out‑of‑scope activities.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in a medical communications agency in a project/account or programme management role.
- Experience managing scientific publications (abstracts, posters, manuscripts) and a broad range of Medical Affairs deliverables.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while balancing quality, timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
- Project financial management experience: budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, financial reporting.
- Organisational, planning, and communication skills.
- Experience building client relationships and leading project communications with internal and external stakeholders.
