We are seeking to hire an ambitious Health Economist and Outcomes Researcher to join our growing and highly talented Health Economics team and focus on Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) and Preference Elicitation Studies. You will contribute to groundbreaking projects that influence healthcare decision-making, advancing the understanding of patient perspectives and preferences to enhance value-driven healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support a range of quantitative and qualitative health economics and outcomes research projects, including health valuation and utility measurement, analysis of outcomes data and development of patient-reported outcome measures for clients.
- Focus on patient-reported outcome measurement and preference elicitation research.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Educational degree (e.g., MSc) in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Medical Sciences, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience with a strong track record in PRO and preference elicitation studies.
- Knowledge of health economics and methodologies for the analysis of patient-reported outcomes (e.g., utility measurement, development of PRO measures).
- Knowledge of methodologies for utility measurement, survey development, and psychometric validation.
- Understanding of statistical analysis, econometrics, and data interpretation.
- Good knowledge of statistical software packages (e.g., Stata, R).
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical issues.
- Willingness to contribute towards non-project related work for PHMR.
- Team player.
- Ability to work autonomously when needed.
