The role of a Senior Research Manager is to work within the Insights and Research Team to help design and deliver projects that derive critical insights. These projects span across multiple accounts and service lines. The Senior Research Manager also supports team efforts for organic growth and contributes to a positive environment. This environment enables the delivery of excellent quality and healthcare solutions through delivery skills, project scoping, and providing value to both the agency and our clients.

We are seeking a business-minded individual with pharmaceutical landscape experience, coupled with a wider B2B understanding, who wishes to take the next step in their career and impact the shape and future of our business. Reporting directly to a member of our Insight Management Team, you will involve yourself in projects through great client delivery, manage projects, and support business with all clients.

What you’ll do

  • Healthcare Research & Insight Leadership
    • Advise our teams and clients on primary and secondary research needs across pharma and non-pharma
    • Support proposals and pitches through desk research, insight generation and strategic storytelling
    • Champion the role of market and customer insight in strategy development
    • Apply broad knowledge of therapeutic areas, audiences, industry processes and compliance
    • Bring internal partner mindsets, behaviours and perceptions to life
    • Stay ahead of industry trends and share insights internally and externally
  • Congress & Meeting Measurement
    • Lead set-up, project management and supplier oversight of congress measurement programmes
    • Deliver relevant insights and client recommendations
    • Manage freelancers and attend events where required to capture on-site behavioural insights
  • Qualitative & Quantitative Research Expertise
    • Design, moderate and deliver qualitative and quantitative studies (with qualitative expertise)
    • Develop questionnaires, discussion guides and screeners
    • Analyse data to produce clear, actionable insights addressing business questions
    • Produce compelling, insight-led reports and presentations with strategic direction
    • Communicate findings to clients and our teams
  • Project & Client Management
    • Provide clear guidance on project design, delivery, timelines and budgets
    • Manage milestones, resources and internal partner expectations
    • Build client and supplier relationships, including financial management
    • Deliver high-quality client service and communication
  • Operational and People Leadership
    • Manage conflict and crisis situations calmly
    • Support team development, wellbeing and mentoring
  • Commercial & Business Development
    • Demonstrate understanding of client strategies and identify opportunities
    • Estimate budgets, manage scope changes and support pitch delivery
    • Embody and promote INIZIO XD values

What do you need to have

  • Healthcare market research agency experience (currently an established Senior Research Manager/Associate Director, or equivalent role)
  • Qualitative and quantitative experience
  • Experience in primary and secondary research
  • Expertise across different market research methodologies
  • Be able to translate data and evidence into insightful and engaging outputs
  • Experience moderating
  • Experience liaising directly with clients and managing projects through delivery
