In this role, you will take ownership of the Glaucoma pharmaceutical business across the Southwest territory. Your mission? To promote, sell, and educate healthcare professionals on their cutting‑edge medical portfolio while positioning the company as a leading force in the Glaucoma and Dry Eye markets. Key Responsibilities- Achieve sales Vs Target
- Acquire New formularies
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers in both the NHS and private sector
- To have a full understanding of the Customer, their needs and their environment in each Key Account
- To create a clear and effective stakeholder map per account, including decision makers, influencers and access generators
- To create detailed individual customer plans which lead to win:win solutions for both the customer and the organisation.
- To conduct effective and challenging customer interactions which progresses account objectives and enhances partnership working.
- To maintain complete, accurate and up to date customer records in line with company processes and policies and utilise this data for planning and reports.
- Develop a business plan for the area to manage all aspects of the business
- Maintain a high standard of knowledge on products and the competition
- Take ownership of understanding the NHS environment, the customers and their environment
- Personally manage identified Key accounts in the territory to maximise growth of products in existing Accounts and win new business for new accounts.
- In collaboration with Sales Management and Marketing, identify and agree Key Accounts
- To have a dynamic individual account plan for all Key Accounts in line with business strategy and current local environment
- Effective utilisation and allocation of resource, including time, financial and people
- Ensure the effective implementation and progress monitoring of individual account plans
- ABPI qualified
- Flexible "can do" attitude needed to thrive in a fast‑growing company
- Able to influence NHS staff at the highest levels
- Ability to take an account management approach to managing territory business
- Ability to manage the demands of a portfolio of products
- Proven record of achieving sales success
- Ability to reach the highest standards in training & compliance

- Awareness of NHS policies and structure relevant to job role

- Full UK Driving Licence
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent
- Good understanding of the hospital buying/procurement and reimbursement processes
- Experience in working within the ophthalmology, or pharmaceutical industry.
