About the Role

Inizio is recruiting a Regional Account Manager to support a leading pharmaceutical client with a growing portfolio across the paediatrics and gastroenterology therapy areas. This is a field-based role covering the North East with responsibility for working across primary care, secondary care and NHS payer organisations, with a particular emphasis on secondary care engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused pharmaceutical sales professional who is experienced in building effective NHS relationships, identifying opportunities to improve patient access and delivering strong business results.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales performance across the assigned territory in line with agreed objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective territory and account plans.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, NHS stakeholders, ICSs and medicines optimisation teams.
  • Identify and develop commercial opportunities to support patient access and product growth.
  • Deliver accurate and compliant product education in line with the ABPI Code of Practice.

Qualifications

  • Proven pharmaceutical sales experience with a track record of achieving results.
  • Essential experience working within secondary care.
  • ABPI qualified.
  • Strong understanding of the NHS, account management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to identify and convert business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, planning and relationship-building skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the territory.
  • Experience within paediatrics or gastroenterology would be advantageous, although not essential.
