About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate nurse to join our team in a dual role that combines remote clinical helpline support with hands-on homecare nursing. As part of this unique position, you will:
- Provide expert, timely advice to patients, families, and healthcare professionals through our out-of-hours Clinical Helpline.
- Deliver safe, high-quality direct patient care at home for individuals receiving parenteral nutrition.

Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
- Carry out triage, offering evidence-based guidance and reassurance.
- Escalate urgent or complex cases appropriately.
- Coordinate referrals to healthcare services and specialists.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Support continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
- Deliver clinical care in patients' homes, including assessment, treatment and monitoring.
- Set up, operate and troubleshoot monitoring equipment safely.
- Educate patients and families on managing conditions, nutrition therapy and equipment use.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Report and elevate clinical concerns or incidents in line with policy.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Current NMC registration (Adult or Paediatric).
- Minimum 2 years post-registration nursing experience, ideally with community or homecare exposure.
- Confident in using and teaching clinical monitoring equipment.
- Experience in clinical training, mentorship or education is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North of England.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
