We are looking for a Insights Manager to lead and develop our Business Insights & Analytics capability. This is a key role for someone who can combine commercial thinking, strong analytical delivery, stakeholder engagement and team leadership. You will help the business make data led decisions while also supporting the development of scalable insight and analytics services for clients.
Working closely with Business Development, Operations, Commercial, Patient Solutions and client facing teams, you will turn data into clear commercial recommendations that support performance, growth and strategic decision making.
What you’ll be doing
You will lead the Insights & Analytics function, ensuring the delivery of high quality reporting, analysis and commercial insight across the business. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading market analysis, targeting, segmentation, forecasting, territory design and opportunity analysis projects
- Supporting Business Development with insight-led proposals, market assessments and commercial storytelling
- Developing scalable, repeatable analytics offerings that can be used across clients and therapy areas
- Creating clear KPI frameworks, dashboards, reporting templates and insight processes
- Improving data quality, governance, reporting consistency and analytical outputs
- Identifying opportunities to use automation, predictive analytics and AI-enabled approaches
- Producing insight that clearly explains the story behind the data and its implications for clients, patients, HCPs and the business
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and acting as a trusted commercial insights partner
- Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing Insights & Analytics team
About you
We are looking for someone with strong commercial analytics experience, ideally gained within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, outsourced services or consultancy environment. You will bring:
- Experience in commercial analytics, business insights or sales force effectiveness
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical sales, customer engagement models and the NHS environment
- Experience delivering market analysis, segmentation, forecasting, territory design and performance reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik
- Strong communication, presentation and storytelling skills
- The ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable commercial recommendations
- Experience managing priorities, stakeholders and deadlines
- Leadership experience, with the ability to coach and develop team members
- A collaborative approach across Commercial, Operations, Business Development and client-facing teams
- Experience with CRM systems, SQL, data governance, predictive analytics, automation, GIS or territory mapping software would be advantageous.
Location: This is a remote role, however, regular travel to our Ashby office will be required for team collaboration, meetings, and key business activities. Applicants should be comfortable travelling to the Ashby office as needed.
