This is a senior, strategic field role, employed directly on our client’s headcount, offering genuine influence across local health economies and the opportunity to drive meaningful, long-term change in patient care.

As a Key Account Manager, you will be the single point of contact for key customers across your allocated Local Health Economies. You’ll own strategic account planning, lead commercial discussions, and work cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutions that meet local needs while driving sustainable growth. This is a role for someone who enjoys thinking long-term, influencing without authority, and turning insight into action.
Your impact will include:- Building trusted, long-term partnerships across Primary and Secondary Care
- Leading strategic account plans that unlock access and drive growth across LHEs
- Influencing senior stakeholders including ICBs, Health Boards, Finance and Medicines Management Leads
- Shaping local health systems to support formulary and guideline inclusion
- Identifying and delivering commercially robust, value-based proposals
- Developing and managing influential KOL relationships
- Leading educational initiatives and collaborative projects that add real customer value
- Championing the Voice of the Customer to shape strategy and engagement
- Delivering strong commercial performance while maintaining high customer satisfaction and NPS
You’ll engage with a wide range of senior and influential stakeholders, including:
- ICBs, Sub-ICB Clusters and Health Boards across the UK
- Medicines Management, Respiratory Leads and Finance Directors
- Key Opinion Leaders in Primary and Secondary Care
- High-value PCNs, Practices and Practice Clusters
You’ll be a highly credible, strategic pharmaceutical professional with:
- Proven experience as a KAM or in a senior NHS-facing commercial role
- Strong understanding of complex NHS structures and decision-making
- A track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving access
- Confidence leading value-based and commercial discussions
- A collaborative, ethical approach aligned to ABPI and organisational values
