Key Responsibilities: * Policy Development: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. * Accident Investigations: Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence. * Employee Wellbeing: Oversee and coordinate employee wellbeing initiatives in collaboration with the HR team to promote mental and physical health. * Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards. What We’re Looking For: * Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certification is essential. * Knowledge Base: A thorough understanding of occupational health, COSHH, WEEE Regulations, and DSEAR. * Educational Background: A degree or diploma in Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field is desirable. * Experience: Proven experience in health and safety management within a manufacturing environment.
