About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our clinical team in an exciting dual‑role position, combining remote clinical support with community‑based patient care. In this varied role, you will spend the majority of your time delivering expert clinical advice and triage through our Clinical Helpline, supporting patients, carers and healthcare professionals. Alongside this, you will provide specialist community nursing care to patients receiving parenteral nutrition and intravenous (IV) therapies within their own homes. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working autonomously, making sound clinical decisions, and delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care across both virtual and community settings.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide safe, evidence‑based telephone clinical advice and triage to patients, carers and healthcare professionals.
  • Assess clinical enquiries, identifying patients requiring urgent intervention and escalating concerns appropriately.
  • Deliver specialist community nursing care to patients receiving parenteral nutrition and IV therapies in their own homes.
  • Educate and support patients and carers to promote independence and confidence in managing treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, high‑quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely and comprehensive clinical records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
  • Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to delivering compassionate, person‑centred care at all times.

Joining Inizio Engage means becoming part of a dedicated clinical team committed to delivering exceptional care, driving positive health outcomes and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.

Job responsibilities

Working predominantly within our Clinical Helpline, you will provide expert clinical advice, assessment and triage to patients, carers and healthcare professionals. Alongside this, you will deliver specialist community nursing care to patients receiving intravenous (IV) therapies and parenteral nutrition in their own homes. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working autonomously, using clinical judgement to support patients remotely while maintaining hands‑on clinical practice in the community. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, effective and compassionate care, helping patients manage their treatment with confidence while contributing to positive health outcomes.

Person Specification

  • Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration.
  • Minimum of two years' post‑registration experience.
  • Experience in community nursing, IV therapy, homecare or a similar clinical setting.
  • Excellent clinical assessment, communication and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Competent IT skills with experience of electronic clinical record systems.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for community visits.
  • Experience supporting patients receiving parenteral nutrition.
  • Experience of telephone triage or remote clinical assessment.
  • Competency in vascular access device management.
  • Teaching or patient education experience.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and quality improvement.
