This position combines strong account management with scientific engagement to drive access, uptake, and optimal use of a product used for infant populations across NHS Trusts in the UK. The Vaccines Account Manager will work in close partnership with the National Account Manager to maximise product utilisation where formulary inclusion has been achieved.

The role is highly execution-focused, requiring the ability to influence HCPs, support implementation, and reinforce product value through differentiated scientific messaging. The VAM will play a key role in ensuring successful product adoption, maintaining customer satisfaction, and driving sustained usage within target accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Support & Execution
    • Work alongside a cross-functional team to maximise product usage
    • Support execution of account plans, ensuring strong local implementation and follow-through.
    • Identify opportunities within existing accounts to expand usage and improve patient access.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals, including but not limited to: Neonatal Consultants, Pharmacists, Specialist Nurses
    • Influence product preference at an HCP level through clear, credible, and differentiated scientific messaging.
    • Establish trust and credibility through consistent, value-driven engagement.
  • Implementation & Uptake Support
    • Support NHS Trusts with the practical implementation of our clients’ product
    • Provide ongoing follow-up after initiation, including: Sharing product information, Reinforcing key messages, Resolving any issues or barriers to usage
    • Encourage behaviour change to support sustained prescribing and usage.
  • Product Differentiation & Customer Experience
    • Deliver compelling scientific and clinical messaging to differentiate our client’s product from competitors.
    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through responsive, proactive support.
    • Adapt engagement approach to meet customer needs effectively.
  • Insights & Market Intelligence
    • Gather real-world insights from customers to inform future strategy and messaging.
    • Feedback to cross-functional teams in order to support continuous improvement and strategic alignment.
    • Monitor account progress and identify opportunities to optimise performance.

The ideal candidate will be a driven and scientifically credible account manager with experience engaging healthcare professionals within the NHS. They will be comfortable working collaboratively with a National Account Manager and cross-functional teams, contributing insights from the field and helping to shape future strategy. Experience in vaccines, neonatal, paediatric, or specialised therapy areas would be advantageous.
