Due to continued growth of the service, we are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Patient Solutions team as a Clinical Nurse Trainer. This is a field-based role supporting patients, carers, and healthcare professionals across the South West of England. You'll deliver clinical education, support competency development, and provide hands-on patient support in both face-to-face and virtual settings.
Please note: This role requires regular travel across the South West, including occasional overnight stays. A full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver clinical training and education to healthcare professionals and clinical teams
- Support patients, carers, and families with homecare education and ongoing clinical support
- Develop and maintain evidence-based training materials and documentation
- Monitor clinical competencies and support safe clinical practice
- Complete accurate reporting, documentation, and KPI activity tracking
- Support audits, service reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and safeguarding standards
- Escalate clinical concerns and adverse events appropriately
- Current NMC registration
- Minimum 2 years post-registration experience
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
- Confident using digital systems and virtual platforms
- Experience in CVAD or Parenteral Nutrition
- Clinical training, coaching, or mentoring experience
- Teaching qualification such as AET or Train the Trainer
- Community or homecare experience
- A proactive, patient-focused nurse with a passion for education
- Someone comfortable working autonomously in a field-based role
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to travel regularly
