Reporting to the Order To Cash Global Process Owner, this is a global Project Finance Team Lead role within the Finance Shared Services Centre (FSSC). Hybrid working arrangements are in place.
Role Responsibilities
- Participate in strategic continuous improvement initiatives in the organization, achieving identified goals (financial, process or talent)
- Manage the handover of processes between SSC team and local finance teams through Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) documentation, knowledge capture and knowledge transfer.
- Lead the creation of accurate client invoices in compliance with contract terms and billing schedule.
- Responsible for driving transactional process standardization through implementation of best practices, systems, and policies.
- Ensure all team processes are fully documented, process exceptions minimised and that standard operating procedures are assigned an owner and regularly reviewed to remain up to date
- Meet monthly & quarterly close calendar deadlines to ensure all billing is processed in a timely manner.
- Review reconciliation activity on client accounts to understand historical invoicing against modifications of a contract.
- Mentor new team members during on-boarding process.
- Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams to support the order-to-cash process.
- Review and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Meet & exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & other performance metrics
- Promptly respond to information requests from internal and external stakeholders and act as a coordination point for internal and external audits, controls testing and year end audit procedures.
- Ensures compliance (SOX or otherwise) of the OTC function, including identifying and managing fraud risks, ensuring segregation of duties, facilitating audits, and reviewing the occurrence of non-standardized processes and activities
- Support a culture of high performance and collaboration with all stakeholders.
- Manage the performance of direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counselling, feedback, and guidance, and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to
- Perform other duties as directed.
