Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: North of England
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to call on existing and potential customers in the North of England. Experience of the construction industry is desired and selling services rather than products.
We provide specialist testing, engineering, and consultancy services for the construction sector. Customers include major contractors, structural engineering consultancies and product manufacturers. Training will be provided.
You will be required to build on existing relationships and develop new ones. We have an established presence in the region and there are plenty of opportunities to go at.
The Business
Initivo, formerly VINCI Technology Centre UK, combines world leading laboratory testing with expertise in sustainability and a complete understanding of structures. Our multi-disciplinary team provide practical and innovative solutions to the challenges posed by today’s-built environment. We have c. 90 strong team of engineers, technicians, and apprentices and a strong track-record of success.
Role involves:
Grow existing business with:
- Contractors & developers
- Façade/Envelope installers and manufacturers
- Developing our specialist surveying/NDT business
Services provided to the above include:
- On-site testing, air tightness, acoustic, weathertightness and structural
- Laboratory testing of facades including weathertightness and acoustic
- Laboratory testing of concrete
- Non-Destructive Testing and specialist surveying.
