We are seeking a skilled and motivated Acoustic Engineer to join our growing team, specialising in building acoustics and on-site testing. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial projects, carrying out acoustic testing, design input, and reporting to support compliance and high acoustic performance in the built environment.
Duties
- Conduct sound insulation testing in accordance with relevant standards (e.g. Approved Document E).
- Undertake air tightness testing in line with Building Regulations.
- Carry out acoustic measurements, site surveys, and data analysis.
- Provide input on building acoustic design and noise control strategies.
- Prepare clear and accurate technical reports.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and design teams to deliver practical acoustic solutions.
Person Specification
- Degree Qualified in relevant subject.
- Member of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
- Proven experience in acoustic testing and air tightness testing.
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations relating to acoustics.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required.
- CSCS card or equivalent site qualifications.

Hours: Full Time - 37.5 - Monday to Friday
