INITION is on a mission to revolutionize battery production beyond the Dry Process, and we're looking for a passionate Battery Lab Technician to join our innovative R&D team in Oxford. What you'll do:

  • Fabricate, assemble, and test battery electrodes, from coin cells to full-scale prototypes.
  • Operate and maintain state-of-the-art lab equipment, including battery cyclers, EIS, and mechanical testers.
  • Collaborate directly with our engineers to design experiments, gather critical data, and solve complex challenges.
  • Take ownership of the lab environment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and organization are always top-priority.
  • Analyse results and contribute your insights to accelerate our R&D cycles.
  • Manage the research lab and data system.

What we're looking for:

  • Degree in chemistry, physics, materials science, or related.
  • Hands-on experience in a laboratory or technical R&D environment.
  • A meticulous and detail-oriented approach to your work.
