Queen Elizabeth's School is looking for a Teacher of Science (Physics or Chemistry) to join our fantastic team in September 2025. Are you passionate about Science and dedicated to inspiring and motivating students? This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic professional to join our oversubscribed upper school. We are on a journey of rapid improvement and want inquisitive, positive, dynamic and resilient colleagues to join our excellent science department.

Our thriving department is currently recruiting for a Teacher of Science, ideally with either Physics or Chemistry specialism. The department is very well-resourced and there will be the opportunity to teach across all Key Stages. Applications from ECT colleagues are welcomed.

Ideally, We Would Like To Appoint Someone Who Has:

  • An awareness of Rosenshine’s principles of instruction
  • An understanding of key substantive and disciplinary concepts in science
  • An awareness of some of the concepts explored in Tom Sherrington’s ‘Walkthru’ series or Doug Lemov’s ‘Teach Like a Champion’ series.
