Queen Elizabeth's School is looking for a Teacher of Religious Studies to join our team. Actual Salary £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (M1 to UP3). Start Date: 1 September 2025. The role is offered on a Permanent and Full Time basis.

Are you passionate about Religious Education and dedicated to inspiring and motivating students? This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic professional to join our oversubscribed upper school. We are on a journey of rapid improvement and want inquisitive, positive, dynamic and resilient colleagues to join our excellent Humanities department.

Our thriving department is currently recruiting for a Teacher of Religious Studies. The department is very well-resourced and there will be the opportunity to teach across all Key Stages. Applications from ECT and part-time colleagues are welcome.

Qualifications
  • An awareness of Rosenshine’s principles of instruction
  • An understanding of key substantive and disciplinary concepts in Religious Studies
  • An awareness of some of the concepts explored in Tom Sherrington’s ‘Walkthru’ series or Doug Lemov’s ‘Teach Like a Champion’ series
