The Queen Elizabeth’s School Business Department is seeking a full-time permanent Teacher of Economics & Business for the 2025 academic year. The position requires teaching at Key Stage 4 & 5, including A Level and BTEC in the Sixth Form.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and assess curriculum in Economics & Business for Key Stage 4 & 5.
- Support student learning, achievement, and progress through effective teaching practices.
- Collaborate with department colleagues to deliver whole-class support and behaviour management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Awareness of Rosenshine’s principles of instruction.
- Understanding of key substantive and disciplinary concepts in business principles, economics, and entrepreneurship.
- Knowledge of teaching resources such as Tom Sherrington’s ‘Walkthru’ series or Doug Lemov’s ‘Teach Like a Champion’ series.
- Ability to promote high standards of student learning, attainment, and behaviour.
- Experience delivering inspirational lessons in a secondary school setting.
