Description
Lockyer\’s Middle School is looking for a Cover Supervisor to join our fantastic team.
This temporarily based role (32 hours per week, 38 weeks per year) starts 5 January 2026 and runs until 31 August 2026.
The successful candidate will supervise classes during short‑term absences of teachers, ensuring students complete the work provided for them.
We seek an enthusiastic, ambitious and committed individual with high expectations, the ability to motivate students, strong organisational skills, and a proactive team mindset.

About our School
Lockyer\’s Middle School is part of a successful pyramid of first, middle and upper schools in the Corfe Mullen area and is part of the Initio Learning Trust. Students join us in Year 5 (aged 9), transition from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3, before moving to upper school at the end of Year 8 (aged 13). The school focuses on developing the whole child through an enriched academic, cultural, creative and sporting curriculum, supported by strong pastoral care.
