The Media Planning Associate supports the development and delivery of effective, insight-led media plans across multiple channels. This role is ideal for someone early in their media career who is looking to build strong planning fundamentals, gain exposure to cross-channel strategy, and contribute to best-in-class campaign execution. You will work closely with planners, buyers, and clients to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned to business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development of media plans across digital and offline channels
- Support audience research and insight generation using tools such as TGI, YouGov, Nielsen, or platform insights
- Support campaign setup processes alongside activation teams
- Manage deadlines and ensure smooth campaign delivery
- Support in tracking campaign performance
- Assist in preparing PCAs
- Attend internal and client meetings where appropriate
- Take notes and follow up on actions
- Build relationships with media partners
- Support presentation creation for client reviews and responses
- Support in finance approval process
- Interest in media, advertising, and communications
- Analytical mindset with good attention to detail
- Comfortable working with numbers and budgets
- Great PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Organised and able to manage multiple deadlines
