Job purpose
As a Consultant in the Value, Access, and Pricing team, you will lead the execution of successful projects involving market access, reimbursement, and pricing strategy. The role will involve leading desk-based research, stakeholder engagement, and value tool development to inform strategic recommendations. Activities will be related to disease and reimbursement landscaping, burden of disease, cost of illness, and unmet needs, as well as evidence gap assessments, pricing research, reimbursement strategy, value proposition development, and generation of value communication materials.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with colleagues across health economics, evidence synthesis, and health technology assessment teams to successfully deliver a range of projects including:
- Analyse and interpret clinical, reimbursement, and pricing information to support strategic market access projects.
- Lead, design, and undertake a range of primary and secondary research activities, including pragmatic and targeted literature reviews, landscaping, surveys, interviews, advisory boards, workshops, Delphi panels, and structured expert elicitation with payers, clinicians, and patients.
- Build and use value tools to inform pricing recommendations and demonstrate product value.
- Develop value propositions, value messages, and global value dossiers.
- Collaborate with colleagues across health economics, evidence synthesis, and health technology assessment teams to provide strategic advice on pricing and reimbursement strategy and evidence generation planning.
- Prepare concise, accurate and engaging reports, slide decks and client‑ready materials, and present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project plans.
- Verbal and written client communication and presentation.
- Oversee single‑workstream projects, managing scope, timelines, risks, and client expectations.
- Contribute to business development by inputting into scoping solutions, developing proposals, and identifying account growth opportunities.
- Maintain excellent operational discipline, collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders.
About you
- Experience in healthcare or life sciences consulting, with a strong focus on market access, pricing and reimbursement strategy, stakeholder research, or insight generation.
- Demonstrated experience contributing to market access strategy, value, or pricing projects, supporting the development of evidence‑based recommendations for payer audiences.
- Hands‑on experience in primary and secondary research, including literature reviews, landscape analyses, surveys, interviews, Delphi panels, advisory boards, or workshops with payers, clinicians, or other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and scientific communication skills, with the ability to synthesise clinical and economic evidence into clear, structured, and persuasive value narratives.
- Strong scientific/medical writing and analytical skills, comfortable contributing to value materials used to inform pricing and reimbursement submissions and negotiations (e.g., value propositions, value messages, value tools).
- Strong project delivery skills, able to manage individual workstreams, maintain quality, and meet deadlines across multiple client engagements.
- Commercially aware and growth‑minded, and a willingness to contribute to proposals, thought leadership, and business development activities.
- A collaborative and proactive team player who builds strong relationships with colleagues and clients and contributes positively to team culture.
