Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (Demandware) architecture and development.
- Proficiency in SFRA, ISML, JavaScript, Node.js, and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Data Modelling, Cartridges, and Business Manager Configurations.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and deployment strategies.
- Familiarity with Headless Commerce, Composable Architecture, and Omnichannel strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Role Overview:
The Salesforce B2C Commerce Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-level eCommerce solutions using Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong architectural skills, and the ability to lead complex integrations across multiple systems while ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end architecture for Salesforce B2C Commerce implementations. Define technical standards, best practices, and governance for eCommerce solutions.
- Integration & Customization: Architect integrations with ERP, OMS, CRM, Payment Gateways, and third-party systems. Oversee customizations using SFRA (Salesforce Reference Architecture) and ISML templates.
- Performance & Scalability: Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and scalability of the platform. Conduct code reviews and enforce quality standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
- Security & Compliance: Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with PCI DSS and GDPR.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer or Architect Certification.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, or Order Management.
- Exposure to Cloud Hosting (AWS/Azure) and Microservices Architecture.
