The Shared Information Services department is currently in the middle of an exciting programme to move to a new ERP system. The Business Analyst is required to support that programme, predominantly by eliciting and documenting requirements and assisting with UAT.
Job Description
Work closely with Subject Matter Experts to elicit and define business, financial, and operational requirements for both project work and \’business as usual\’ tasks. This will require you to conduct interviews or to gather user requirements via meetings, questionnaires or site visits and model the output using workflows, storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods within a detailed specification.
Create new process flows for operational procedures, e.g. on-boarding new staff, managing staff moves, provision of user support.
Carry out testing (unit, system, regression) and co-ordinate UAT. This will involve writing detailed use cases, scenarios and test cases.
Participate in or contribute to user support via our global service desk as and when required.
Candidate Specification
It is vital that you are a skilled and experience Business Analyst who has a minimum of 3 year\’s solid BA experience. We will require you to hit the ground running and to become effective quickly. A high level of written English is required.
Formal Education & Certification
University degree or diploma in the field of Business Analysis, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Administration or 3 years’ equivalent work experience.
BCS Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent – desirable
Knowledge and experience – essential
Knowledge and experience – highly desirable
Personal attributes
Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with technical members of interdisciplinary teams.
Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, oral and presentation communication skills
