The Product Delivery Manager will act as the critical bridge between fast-moving business environments and technical delivery. This is a highly proactive, artefact-led position where you will be expected to turn complex, shifting requirements into clear, visual deliverables that senior stakeholders can easily digest and sign off.

You will take full ownership of the team's delivery ecosystem, building rollout plans, workflow diagrams, and decision trees ahead of time, ensuring you are guiding the pace rather than reactively taking tickets. You will also be responsible for driving Jira governance across the team—establishing control over workflow stages, closing gaps where developers might self-manage their sprint cadence, and tracking clear delivery metrics.

Managing multiple parallel workstreams will be second nature to you, acting as a vital buffer to protect developer capacity and shield them from the friction of context-switching.

About You

You will probably be a delivery manager or project manager with experience working as a Business Analyst or product owner. Ideally, you will have been technical in the past. You know how to use data and visual diagrams to communicate effectively with both engineering teams and non-technical business leaders. You are comfortable sharing draft work early to secure stakeholder buy-in, and you have the confidence to manage complex backlogs with zero hand-holding.

Technologies & Competencies Required:

  • Strong technical Jira capability (governance, workflow configuration, and board management)
  • Delivery metric tracking (Velocity, Cycle Time, Lead Time, Rework Rates)
  • Workflow diagramming and mapping tools (e.g., Miro, Visio, Lucidchart)
  • Advanced sprint planning and portfolio management frameworks

The Company

Our client is a high-output, agile business working in the legal tech industry. They believe in complete ownership and accountability, giving you the full autonomy and freedom to deliver your way. This is a collaborative and lean environment where your contribution to the company's delivery evolution will be highly visible and directly rewarded. With 200 staff, you will be part of the IT team made up of full-time and contract resources.

Why You Should Do This Job

If you thrive in an environment where you can truly own the process rather than just administrative tasks, this is the perfect challenge. You will have a direct impact on how the engineering and business teams align, with the freedom to establish best-in-class governance. It’s an opportunity to showcase your strategic planning and risk-mitigation skills in a business that values tangible delivery over red tape.

Location: London / Hybrid - you'll come to the office once maybe twice a week. You must have a reliable commute to London.

The Money: £70,000 plus benefits.
