The Job
The senior delivery manager you will lead 1- 2 teams of Developers, product owners, testers and BA\’s, delivering internal platform solutions and client solutions. As the delivery manager your job will be to matrix manage a team, whilst working within a wider project portfolio of 4 delivery manager / project managers and one other senior delivery manager manager.
Projects / products are delivered using the right methodologies for the project, some are agile, some are waterfall, lots are delivered using a combination of both methods.
The senior delivery manager will also mentor 1/2 delivery managers.
In this job you will be a hands on delivery manager (not hands on technical) and you will drive / motivate your team to deliver.
About You
You must be a senior technical delivery manager who has been a hands on leader of technical teams. You will be an expert with agile techniques and whilst they are not using scaled agile, experience in that environment would be great. You will be skilled at matrix management and will be able to demonstrate the ability to blend methodologies to your will. You will have worked though the SDLC and know how to manage KPI\’s with developments teams.
This is an entrepreneurial business and having the ability to think outside the box and get project delivered. We are looking for someone who can drive a high performance culture in the team, bringing some energy and gravitas. To work here you need to be able to embrace positive change and often be the agent of that change.

This business works in the information space and have grown quickly in the 15 years they have been running. They are 1500 people and have a culture where people are listened too and if you come with great ideas the business is not afraid to act on them. They have recently changed the way that projects are delivered, which means they are scaling their technical teams and is the reason they are hiring you.
The business is valued at $1B and the aim to be valued at $2B within 5 years.

Salary + package
£85,000 + 10% bonus + pension + 26 days holiday + 2 days for like admin + 2 days to do some good, this increases with time.
They will give you 6 professional coaching or mental health sessions per year (an amazing benefit), plus all the other perks.
Location
City London 2 days per week, remote the rest of the time
