Delivery Manager

The job

Working as a Delivery manager , you will have a varied job working on a major digital transformation programme to bring their technical estate into the 21st century. Acting as the product owner, BA, technical PM you will lead a small but perfectly formed team of engineers, testers, architects and 3rd party suppliers you will be responsible for improving velocity, unblocking bottle necks and driving efficiencies.

Your will run agile ceremonies retrospectives keeping the board updated with progress across this highly important programme of work. You will help them to move from a project to a more product-based ethos.

Your projects will cover databases, websites, finance systems, mobile sites and back-office functions.

About you

You will be a skilled delivery manager who has experience gathering requirements from users and running ceremonies as a product owner or a scrum master. You will be strong with delivery techniques (agile, Kamban, Lean, Prince2 etc) and comfortable running a multi-disciplined team. You will have worked in a start-up of a SME where not all processes are nailed down. Any experience across a broad technical estate covering: Finance, HR, CRM and Payments, is hugely beneficial.

You will have prior experience leading change / transformation initiatives and have first class stakeholder management skills

About the company

This is SME business with 100+ employees across a few offices. They work in a very interesting space and are the market leaders. They have recently received some investment which, they hope will turn their £20Mi business to a £60M dollar business. This is only going to build on solid foundations meaning they are starting by transforming their digital estate.

This is a positive company to work with, they are a lot of fun and you will be impressed with their can-do attitude and willingness to change.

Location

Hybrid – London 1-2 days a week (ish)

Money

£55-65000 plus full package
