Aim of the Role
The Systems Support Analyst acts as a technical partner to Inigo’s business units, ensuring the reliability, optimisation, and strategic development of core business applications. This role collaborates with internal teams and external partners to drive continuous improvement, enhance system capabilities, and deliver solutions that support business growth and innovation. The analyst proactively identifies opportunities for automation and process enhancement, ensuring that Inigo’s platforms remain robust, secure, and fit for purpose.
The successful candidate will do this by:
- Collaborating with business stakeholders in teams including Underwriting, Claims and Finance, to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participating in projects to enhance, upgrade, or integrate business applications.
- Developing and maintaining system documentation, knowledge bases, and training materials to empower end users & Service desk to reduce repetitive queries.
- Driving the adoption of automation and self-service tools to streamline business processes.
- Monitoring system performance, analysing trends, and recommending improvements to maximize efficiency and systems availability.
- Ensuring compliance with information security and data governance policies.
- Working closely with selected cloud service providers and software application vendors.
To do this, we’re going to need you to bring:
- Experience of supporting applications and end user infrastructure in an enterprise environment.
- Knowledge of SQL querying and reporting, and Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of the M365 application suite, especially SharePoint Online for document management and Power BI for information reporting and data visualisation.
- Analytical thinking and complex technical problem solving across multi-tiered enterprise applications.
- Experience and knowledge of software development principles, database management, data warehouse, middleware, server, and cloud configuration.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience in ITIL (or similar) incident management and service delivery framework.
- Highly motivated with an ability to learn & master large and complex software systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Experience in supporting insurance and reinsurance applications, both proprietary and commercial off the shelf (COTS).
- Fundamental knowledge of Cloud computing, especially Microsoft Azure. A fundamentals certification would also be nice to have.
- Experience in supporting cloud hosted applications and environments.
- Knowledge of Power BI, and its relevance/application to solving business problems and data visualization requirements.
