Are you looking for a remote role in audit that allows you to enjoy a work-life balance? Or perhaps you prefer a more hybrid role that focuses on both audit and accounts? If so, I’m working closely with a client who is seeking an Audit and Accounts Senior to join their team in North London. This role requires a qualified Accountant who can work in the office around 2 days a month to engage with clients and colleagues. The portfolio includes clients from various industries, providing a highly enjoyable environment. This position is ideal for someone aiming to become a manager soon and be part of the firm’s growth.
Duties include:
- Approximately a 75/25 split between Audit and Accounts work.
- Assisting Senior Managers with audit planning and detailed testing.
- Reviewing and finalising financial statements and drafting Corporation tax computations.
- Submitting approved Accounts and Corporation tax returns.
- Preparing and submitting Self Assessment tax returns.
- Delegating work to outsourced teams in India and reviewing their work.
- Managing some management account assignments to provide monthly management accounts for review and client meetings.
Desired skills:
- Experience in a similar audit or accounts role.
- Ambition to progress in their career.
- CCH and Caseware Cloud experience is a plus but not essential.
- Right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available.
