Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Paid Social Lead to manage and optimise our paid social campaigns across multiple platforms. This is a leadership role with the potential for growth into the Head of Paid Social, where you\’ll take ownership of the overall paid social strategy, growth, and team development.
As the Senior Paid Social Lead, you will oversee the execution of paid social campaigns, utilizing data-driven strategies to maximize reach, engagement, and ROI. You will also lead, mentor, and collaborate with a talented team to drive continuous improvements. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development & Execution: Lead the strategic planning and execution of paid social campaigns across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal teams: (creative, analytics, and product) to ensure alignment on campaign goals and messaging. Continuously refine and optimise paid social strategies to drive performance, focusing on customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of paid social specialists, fostering a collaborative environment and guiding career development.
- Identify opportunities for team skill growth and ensure resources are available to keep up with evolving trends in paid social. Cultivate a high-performance culture, ensuring the team delivers on key KPIs and objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior management, marketing, and product teams to align paid social objectives with overall business goals.
- Provide thought leadership on trends, new features, and industry best practices for paid social advertising.
- Budget Management: Manage significant advertising budgets across paid social campaigns, ensuring effective allocation and maximisation of spend.
- Innovation & Trends: Stay up to date on the latest trends, tools, and strategies in paid social and digital advertising.
- Experiment with new strategies, platforms, and ad formats to continuously drive innovation in campaigns.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience managing paid social campaigns with a proven track record of success in a senior or leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of key social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, etc.), their ad products, and industry trends.
- Extensive experience with social media management tools (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.).
- Solid understanding of social media trends, audience targeting, and digital advertising best practices.
- Experience with A/B testing, ad copywriting, creative direction, and reporting tools such as Facebook Analytics.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple client accounts.
