Overview:
One of our clients is looking for an ambitious individual who is comfortable dealing with clients, has great attention to detail, as well as knowledge of media planning and paid social & searches with a good understanding of reporting of both digital and offline campaigns.
Job Summary:
In this role you will be expected to own the end-to-end planning process: from understanding the source of growth, gathering audience insights, audience media choices and budget planning.
An understanding and experience using planning tools such as TGI, Nielson as well as digital tools such as Google AdWords & Trends to gather insight for campaign responses.
An ability to interrogate and question a client brief before providing a clear and concise media response.
Well-versed in budget setting and splits by channels, weights, and flights of channels.
Work with clients to identify exactly what will be done and by when and then delivering on that request accurately and on time.
An overarching knowledge of offline and online media channels and how they work together. Ability to agree on the role by channel and set clear objectives and KPIs by channel and format.
Create clear plans with clients of key milestones and deliverables of campaigns.
Influencing various stakeholders to deliver projects on time and to exacting standards.
Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail, you will be process-driven – managing and prioritising your workload to the best of your ability
- Demonstrate keen insight into the media landscape and be able to add value with a process-driven analytical approach to briefs and media plans
- Develop holistic communications and media strategies, plan and deliver first-class campaigns for our clients, monitor and report across all elements of the campaigns
- Negotiating media partnerships, obtaining maximum value in all negotiations
- Knowledge and experience in planning and buying across all media channels (with a specific bias towards traditional channels)
- An interest in the creative side of media planning – understanding how content or bespoke creative concepts can help lift or lead an advertising campaign
- Strong client servicing experience, excellent presentation skills and confidence in front of an audience
- Facilitating the development of the account team, teaching, guiding and nurturing a team, to further their knowledge and experience, developing the junior team members into strong and confident account managers
