As a Tax Associate (Trainee), you’ll gain real exposure to how tax supports commercial decisions within a growing healthcare organisation serving millions of patients. This role offers structured study support, day‑to‑day mentoring, and broad exposure across VAT, Corporation Tax, governance, systems and international operations. It would suit someone at an early stage of their career, including graduates looking to build a long‑term career in tax.

What You’ll Gain- Full study support towards ATT or CTA
- Exposure across the UK, Ireland, the Philippines and future locations
- Hands‑on experience in VAT, Corporation Tax and tax governance
- Involvement in ERP and Procure to Pay processes
- Regular collaboration with Finance, Commercial, Legal and external advisers
- Support VAT returns and Corporation Tax submissions
- Prepare accurate, audit‑ready working papers and reconciliations
- Assist with contract and bid reviews to identify tax risks
- Support new entity setups and tax registrations
- Liaise with external advisers and internal stakeholders
- Support ERP and P2P processes to ensure tax accuracy
- Assist with governance and controls including SAO and CCO
- Maintain trackers, deadlines and organised documentation
- Contribute to projects and process improvements
This is a trainee role, designed to help you build strong foundations in tax. You will:
- Build confidence supporting VAT and Corporation Tax compliance
- Learn how tax interacts with systems, data and wider business operations
- Develop the judgement to identify and elevate issues appropriately
- Gain exposure to commercial decision‑making and project work
- Gradually take on greater responsibility as your experience grows
As your experience grows, there will be opportunities to deepen technical expertise or move into broader finance or commercial roles.
