We’re opening a brand new Community Diagnostic Centre in Slough in early 2026 - and this is your opportunity to play a key leadership role from day one.
We’re looking for a Superintendent Radiographer (MRI) to lead, shape and grow a high-performing team, while continuing to deliver exceptional patient care in a modern, purpose-built environment.

What you’ll be doing
As Superintendent Radiographer, you’ll be the clinical and operational lead for MRI services on site. You will:
- Lead and supervise a team delivering high-quality MRI services
- Perform a range of routine and complex MRI scans (including contrast)
- Coach, mentor and develop radiographers to reach their full potential
- Drive clinical governance, audits and continuous improvement
- Support recruitment, induction and workforce planning
- Manage rotas and ensure safe, efficient service delivery
- Act as a key point of contact for your team and wider stakeholders
What we’re looking for
You’ll be a confident, experienced radiographer ready to step into – or continue – a leadership role.
- BSc in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent)
- HCPC registration
- Strong experience in MRI scanning (routine and complex)
- Proven ability to lead, coach and motivate teams
- Excellent understanding of MRI physics, protocols and governance
- Strong organisational and communication skills
You’ll stand out if you have:
- Experience supervising or leading a radiography team
- Involvement in recruitment, service development or audits
- Experience working in a fast-paced clinical or mobile environment
