About the role: We are looking for a Sonographer to join our Ultrasound team, in London, on a permanent, full-time basis. Our Sonographers at InHealth work with a dedicated Healthcare Assistant with a pre-booked set of patient appointments. You will work from our Community Diagnostic Centres in London, working 5 days out of 7, Monday‐Sunday. You will undertake ultrasound procedures efficiently and effectively, adhering to the best practice of Ultrasound techniques, complying with the relevant codes of practice. The advertised salary for this role will depend on the candidate's experience, as well as their scanning and reporting competencies evaluated during the interview process.
What you will do:
- Independently scan and report on a variety of MSK procedures and have a passion to develop further skills in MSK.
- Independently provide general abdominal, pelvic, and small parts ultrasound scanning services.
- Independently produce a clinical report to InHealth standards, for each completed scan.
- Provide a high‐quality professional experience for patients, supporting them throughout the process from referral to results.
- Undertake administrative duties ensuring patient information systems are up to date and maintained.
- Participate in matters concerning clinical governance, clinical audits and quality assurance.
About you:
- Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent.
- Registered with the HCPC, GMC or RCT.
- To be able to scan and report proficiently in all relevant areas of Ultrasound practice.
- Eligibility to reside and work in the UK, with experience of working in the UK as a General, MSK or Vascular Sonographer.
