We are looking for an experienced Lead Nurse / ODP to join our Endoscopy team on a full-time permanent basis. This excellent opportunity will allow the successful individual to join the unit leadership team, along with the Ops Manager at our brand new Community Diagnostic Centre in Yeovil where we are due to open the doors imminently.

As a Lead Nurse / ODP within InHealth, you will lead, inspire, and support a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient-led care. This is a key leadership role, so experience of leading and managing a clinical team, within Endoscopy, is essential.

What you will do:

  • Ensure that standards of practice are maintained and developed, enhancing the patient experience.
  • Lead the delivery of a clinically excellent, high-quality service, influencing and facilitating change.
  • Act as a role model, supporting and empowering all colleagues.
  • Support the learning and development of all colleagues, ensuring performance reviews and development plans are established.
  • Manage the effective use of all resources allocated to the nursing service.
  • Establish and maintain proactive relationships with all stakeholders.

About you:

  • NMC registered nurse/Operating Department Practitioner HCPC registered.
  • Inspirational leader of a multi-disciplinary Endoscopy team.

  • A great communicator at all levels.
  • Calm in challenging situations, working well under pressure.
  • Experience at Band 7 level.

For eligible roles (which includes this one), we offer an additional payment of £10 per hour, up to a maximum of £50 per day, for each weekend day worked. This is paid monthly in arrears.
