Join InHealth, the UK’s leading provider of NHS Breast Screening Services, and take the helm of the Surrey & North East Hampshire Breast Screening Service (SNEH). This is a rare opportunity to lead a service that spans a static centre and five mobile units, serving over 210,000 women across Surrey and North East Hampshire.
As Clinical Director, you’ll be accountable for the safe, effective, and innovative delivery of the service—from initial screening invitations through to diagnosis—ensuring every patient receives world-class care. You’ll also champion training and professional development, support research initiatives, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of breast screening in the region.
- Ensure the service meets and exceeds national and local performance standards (NHSBSP, NHS England).
- Oversee clinical governance, patient safety, and quality assurance across all sites.
- Act as the clinical lead for our nationally recognised Training Centre, supporting workforce development and sustainability.
- Drive service transformation and innovation, including pathway redesign, adoption of new technologies, and improvements to efficiency and patient outcomes.
- Represent the service at regional and national forums, strengthening partnerships with NHS, commissioners, research partners, and local communities.
- Promote equity of access and improve screening uptake to reduce health inequalities.
You have a proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams, delivering service transformation, and engaging senior stakeholders. Strong understanding of NHSBSP standards, clinical governance, and quality improvement. Experience in workforce planning, training, and education.
