The Opportunity

This is a senior analytical role at the heart of our Planning and Management Information (MI) team. You’ll use data to uncover insight, forecast demand, optimise resources, and influence decisions that directly improve patient outcomes.

Working closely with clinical, operational, and leadership teams, you’ll:

  • Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Build interactive dashboards and MI reports using tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Tableau.
  • Develop forecasting, scheduling, and capacity planning models to optimise service delivery.
  • Provide clear, actionable insights that help shape strategy and enhance performance.
  • Promote a culture of data‑driven improvement across the organisation.

About You

You’ll be an experienced data and insight professional with a strong analytical mindset, excellent stakeholder skills, and the confidence to influence at all levels.

We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Advanced skills in SQL and Excel, plus strong experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
  • A deep understanding of data modelling, performance analysis, and data governance.
  • The ability to turn complex information into clear, actionable insights.
  • A proven record of leading or contributing to BI/MI projects that drive operational excellence.
  • A collaborative, proactive, and solutions‑focused approach.
  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or Operational Research would be ideal.
