The Opportunity: As a Senior HR Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in delivering our People Strategy and supporting the growth and success of the business. Working closely with Directors, Senior Leaders and Operational Teams, you’ll provide strategic HR leadership across a diverse portfolio, helping leaders navigate organisational change, workforce planning, talent development, engagement and performance. This is a highly visible role where you’ll influence decision-making at senior levels, lead complex people initiatives and ensure our organisation has the capability, culture and leadership required to achieve its ambitious goals.
What You’ll Be Doing: You’ll act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, helping business leaders turn people priorities into measurable outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with senior leaders to develop and implement people and workforce strategies
- Leading complex change programmes including TUPE, restructures, organisational redesign and redeployment activity
- Using people analytics and workforce insights to drive informed business decisions
- Supporting workforce planning, succession planning and talent development initiatives
- Coaching leaders to improve engagement, performance and accountability
- Managing complex employee relations and employment law matters
- Supporting reward, salary benchmarking and pay review activity
- Contributing to bids, tenders and strategic business projects
- Developing leadership capability and supporting organisational effectiveness
- Leading and contributing to People Services projects that drive business improvement
What Success Looks Like: You’ll build strong, credible relationships with leaders across the organisation and become a trusted voice on all people-related matters. You’ll help create high-performing teams, improve colleague engagement, support business transformation and ensure our people practices continue to evolve alongside our growing organisation.
About You: We’re looking for an experienced HR professional who combines strategic thinking with strong commercial awareness and excellent relationship-building skills. You’ll bring:
- Significant HR Business Partnering experience within a complex organisation
- Experience leading organisational change, transformation and TUPE activity
- Strong employee relations and employment law expertise
- Workforce planning and organisational development experience
- Experience using people data and analytics to influence business outcomes
- Talent management and succession planning expertise
- Experience of coaching and influencing senior stakeholders
- Strong project and change management capability
Qualifications: CIPD Level 7 qualified, or equivalent practical experience.
Qualities: Commercially aware and business focused, credible, confident and able to influence at all levels, collaborative and relationship-driven, resilient and calm under pressure, passionate about colleague experience and organisational success, a credible communicator with strong judgement and integrity, comfortable working autonomously whilst contributing to a wider team.
